Hakeem Animashaun Named MASCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

SALEM, Mass. -- Senior Hakeem Animashaun (Dedham, Mass.) was named the GEICO MASCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 26 points on 15-26 (57.7%) shooting, 14.5 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and two steals in two games for the Vikings. The senior went for 25 points, 19 rebounds and a pair of blocks in a 91-87 loss to UMass Dartmouth. He scored 27 points, which included going 17-22 from the free throw line with 10 rebounds and seven blocks in a 99-91 defeat to Keene State College.
