Marissa Laganas Named to All-Little East Second Team

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Sophomore Marissa Laganas (Beverly, Mass.) was named to the 2019 All-Little East Conference Second Team on Thursday following a vote of the league's head coaches. The versatile midfielder scored eight points (3g, 2a) for the Vikings this season, helping Salem State achieve a 10-8 record, which is the most program wins since 1992, when the Vikings went 13-3-1. Laganas is the first Salem State field hockey player to earn all-conference since 2012.
