Why I Chose to Be A Viking - Madoc Fisher '20
Why did you choose to be a Viking?
I elected to be a Viking because I wanted to continue playing baseball while also being close to Boston since I have always been a fan of the Boston sports teams.
 
 
What has that experience meant to you? 
My experience can easily be described as the best four years of my life! I was able to be a three-year member of SAAC and two time president as well as play baseball, get a degree, and meet some of the best people.  Through all the ups and downs, I would not change a thing!
 
 
What advice would you give to student-athletes about to start their careers or those returning student-athletes with eligibility left?
The best advice I can give is to be yourself and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Try new things and have fun. Most importantly, don't take the years you have here for granted because before you know it, it's gonna be time to leave, but you won't be ready to say goodbye.
