Bio

Meaghan has been an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Salem State University since 2016 with her primary sport assignments being Men’s Soccer, Women’s Ice Hockey and Women’s Lacrosse. She is an alumni of Salem State graduating in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and then again in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. While a student at SSU, Meaghan competed on the women’s soccer (4) and softball teams (1).

Prior to employment at Salem State, Meaghan worked as a correctional officer for three years before returning to Salem State for her BS in AT. After completing her BS in AT, she worked at the University of Maine-Orono as a graduate AT student with Women’s Ice Hockey. Meaghan left her GAT appointment for employment at SSU. She completed her Master’s degree in Advanced Pediatric Sports Medicine in 2018 from the University of South Florida, with a specialization in Concussion Management and Rehabilitation in an Athletic Training setting. Meaghan resides in Beverly, with her wife Amanda, and two daughters, Gabriella and Layken.
