A four-year standout for the Vikings in the sport of ice hockey, Buckley compiled a career scoring totals of 84 goals and 87 assists for 171 points. Buckley led the Vikings in scoring while being named Team Most Valuable Player two times. A two-time ECAC and Massachusetts State College All-Star selection at forward, Buckley finished as Salem State College’s second leading scorer twice. He served as a co-captain his senior year and assistant coach the following season. A graduate of Malden Catholic High School, he resides with his wife Denise in Malden.
