Kie Tanaka ’08 – Women’s Tennis (2003-2007)

Tanaka, a native of Osaka, Japan, was a three-time captain for the Vikings' women's tennis team. Tanaka earned 88 career victories, which included a 49-8-1 record in singles play, setting the career mark for most singles wins in school history. The three-time most valuable player was the Little East Player of the Year after capturing back-to-back top-flight singles championships in 2005 and 2006, including a perfect 12-0 record during her senior campaign. The 2007 John D. Galaris Student-Athlete Award winner also earned the 2004 Little East first doubles championship.
