Ed, a member of the class of 2001, was a key contributor to what many followers consider the greatest season in SSC men’s basketball history: the 1999-2000 champaign. As a junior, Ed helped lead the Vikings to a 27-5 record which included a third place finish at the program’s first NCAA Division 3 Final Four appearance. A four-year performer at forward, Ed earned Northeast Region second team All-American honors his senior year after leading SSC to conference title and NCAA tournament. Ed’s final season, in which he led the team in scoring, also included him being chosen Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Year and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Co-Player of the Year.
