Suffolk Triumphs 3-0 Over Vikings

BOSTON – Suffolk scored a 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-16) victory over Salem State in non-conference volleyball action on Thursday evening. The Vikings remain winless at 0-6 while the Rams imrove to 7-4. 

Junior Genevieve Kempster (Hopedale, Mass.) led Salem State with five kills, two aces and eight digs. Sarah Janco (Methuen, Mass.) added five kills and seven digs while Morgan Adams (Scotia, N.Y.) had 12 assists. Emily Hennessey (Hanover, Mass.) finished with 13 digs.     

For Suffolk, Kenzley Bell (Lake Park, Ga.) featured a double-double effort of a team-leading 12 kills and 11 digs to go along with five aces and a pair of blocks. Kaleigh Khanna (Miami, Fla.) provided eight kills, two blocks, two digs and one ace. Sarah Mullahy (Mansfield, Mass.) pitched in six kills, three blocks and two digs.
