SALEM, MASS. – Rhode Island College swept Salem State 3-0 in volleyball action at Twohig Gymnasium on Thursday evening. The Anchorwomen won 25-9, 25-15 and 26-24 to improve to 2-3 on the year. The Vikings slip to 1-2.

Jasmine Severino (Lawrence, Mass.) totaled nine kills while Mackenzie Salls (Turners Falls, Mass.) added 14 assists. Sara Corey (Whatley, Mass.) had a team-high eight digs for Salem State.

Jacqueline Jutras (Foster, RI) led Rhode Island College with 23 assists while Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, MA) – eight kills, seven digs and Jillian Ward (Coventry, RI) – eight kills, four digs played a role in the victory.
