Rams Skate Away With 4-2 Victory

EAST BOSTON, Mass. -- Danielle Kelley and Kerryann Goode each scored a goal, but Suffolk skated away with a 4-2 victory over Salem State on Saturday evening. The Rams improve to 12-6-1 and 7-2-1 in the New England Hockey conference while the Vikings slip to 6-10-1 and 3-7-1 in the league.

Haley Poloskey scored the first of her two goals at the 14:57 mark of the second before Kiley Searles extended the lead to 2-0 just over two and a half minutes later. Poloskey made it 3-0 early in the third before Tess Adams netted the fourth goal for Suffolk with 10:39 remaining. Kelley and Goode added scores for the Vikings late, but their comeback bid came up short.

Sarah Plourde made 31 saves in net for Salem State while Kristen Caporusso stopped 22.
