Bio

Bobby Verdun has attained over 25 years of coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. He was named Massachusetts D3 Coach of the Year as he guided Canton High School to the Massachusetts Sectional Quarter Finals, before becoming an assistant men's basketball coach at Franklin Pierce University. His time with the program was impactful as the Ravens were NECC champions or finalists in each of the three years he was there. Additionally, Bobby recruited six all-league players and two All- American candidates during his time with the Ravens. 

Verdun was also a successful tennis coach at Franklin Pierce, garnering two NECC Coach of the Year awards. He compiled an impressive 34-14 dual match record with his teams consistently ranked in the top 10 regionally and top 25 nationally.    

Over the last 12 years Bobby has worked with players and coaches all over the world conducting player development and strategy clinics in Canada, Europe, and Australia as well as throughout the United States. He's been a featured guest lecturer and speaker at over 100 basketball camps and credits the mentoring of several former or current NBA coaches such as Art Luptowski, Dean Demopoulos, and Don Casey as well as his former college coach Bruce Kirsh for his success. 

Most recently Verdun served as a men's basketball assistant coach to Chris Harvey at Salem State. His impact was felt as the team enjoyed a 22-4 record and was ranked in the top 20 nationally for the 2017-2018 season.  

A current resident of Marblehead, he lives with his wife Stephanie, daughter Hannah; son Zach. He's been a successful consultant with his firm Active Entities Consulting working with clients globally to develop fitness and wellness centers.
