Salem State Earns 12th Place Finish at Wildcats Spring Invitational

Cranston, R.I. -- Eric Powers tied for 23rd place at the Wildcats Spring Invitational hosted by Johnson & Wales this past Friday and Saturday at the Cranston Country Club. Powers led the Vikings with a 154 (75-79) as Salem State came in 12th overall out of 20 teams with a score of 644 (314-330). Amherst College won the event with a score of 596 (297-299).

 Justin Serowik (t-38) came in with a 157 (76-81) while Christian McKenna (t-68) shot a two-day 166 (83-83).  Reed Bourgeois (t-72) and Nick Sheehan (94) ended with a 167 (80-87) and 178 (88-90) respectively.
