Animashaun Earns MASCAC Player of the Week

Salem, Mass. -- Hakeem Animashaun (Sr., F, Dedham, Mass.) earned GEICO MASCAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 20 points on 62.5% (15-24) shooting from the field, 13 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in a 1-1 week for the Vikings. He netted 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in an 82-64 win over Fitchburg State. Animashaun scored 18 points, going 6-10 (60%) from the field with eight rebounds and two blocks over 24 minutes of action in a 95-67 setback to Amherst College.
