Animashaun Earns MASCAC Player of the Week Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Hakeem Animashaun (Sr., F, Dedham, Mass.) was named the GEICO MASCAC Player of the Week after averaging 32.5 points on 63.6% shooting (21-33), 17 rebounds and 3.5 blocks, earning Team MVP honors in two games at the Salem State Holiday Classic. He netted 41 points on 13-of-18 shooting (72%), including 15-of-19 from the line, with 20 rebounds and four blocks in the 97-87 setback to Clark University. Animashaun scored 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting (53.3%) with 14 rebounds and three blocks in the 78-61 defeat to Williams College.
