Briana Earns D3baseball.com All-New England Second Team Honors

Salem, Mass. -- Junior Traverse Briana (Lynn, Mass.) was named to the D3baseball.com All-New England Second Team on Thursday afternoon in an announcement by D3baseball.com, a week after being named to the All-MASCAC First Team.

The first baseman led the nation with a school record .528 batting average and also set a school record with a .578 on base percentage in his first year with the Vikings. He topped the MASCAC in slugging percentage (.731) and placed in the top-five in the league in home runs (4), doubles (10), hits (57) and total bases (79). He also committed just one error in 214 total chances for an impressive .995 fielding percentage.

He is the first Salem State player to earn D3.baseball.com All-Region honors since Richard Fecteau '16, who was honored three times, including two-first team selections.
