Lisa Warren has the distinct honor of being the first woman at Salem State College to attain local, state and national recognition in track and field through achieving All-American Status. She achieved this honor twice in the heptathlon (competition in all events) by virtue of her fourth place finish in 1984 and her third place finish in 1985, both were NCAA National Championship competitions. Warren’s inspirational accomplishments provided the foundation for success that SSC’s track & field program enjoys today. Warren presently works as a manger at Bentley Warren, Inc. in Ipswich, where she also resides.
