Bio

The only three-time President's Cup winner in Salem State history, Estrella Kuilan Mitchell is one of Salem State's most decorated athletes, starring for the Vikings as a two-sport athlete in both women's basketball and volleyball. On the basketball court, Kuilan Mitchell was a four-time All-MASCAC selection, earning conference player of the year honors her junior and senior years while being named a Kodak District 1 All-American her final season. A two-time captain, Kuilan Mitchell led the Vikings to four MASCAC championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances. A two-time All-New England selection, she ended her playing career with 1,604 points, which currently stands fourth all-time at Salem State. One of the top centers in the region during her career, she is Salem State's all-time leading shot blocker, which includes a school record 14 in a single game. She also ranks first all-time in field goals, and fifth in career rebounds. Kuilan Mitchell also made an impact on the volleyball court, earning four first team all-conference selections while being named MASCAC Rookie of the Year (2002) and Player of the Year (2004).
