A resident of Beverly, Kevin Daly was crowned New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) championship medalist for all division in the fall of 1990. Kevin, a native of Peabody, went on to become a first team NCAA Division 3 All-American in the spring of 1991 when he placed fourth after leading the Viking Linksters to a second straight top ten finish at the NCAA championships. He was chosen team MVP and Salem State College top male athlete for the 1990-1991 academic years. The two-time All-American and first team NEIGA performer was the recipient of the Guy Tedesco Award which is presented to New England’s top collegiate golfer.
