A native of Quincy, was a three-year performer for the SSC tennis program. He posted a regular season number one singles match record of 32 wins and just six losses during his college career. Rickson’s career record doubles competition at SSC was 22 victories and four losses. He earned his undergraduate degree at Bridgewater State after completing his athletic eligibility at SSC. He helped lead SSC to the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference tennis championships 1972 and 1973.
