Bio

Bonvie was a three year goaltender for the ice hockey program. He earned All-American status his senior year when he helped lead the Vikings to a third place finish at the 1994 NCAA Final Four.

In addition to being a first team All-New England and second team East All-American selection, Bonvie was also an exceptional performer in the classroom where he was chosen SSC’s top male student athlete and the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference top male scholar athlete for the 1993-94 academic year.

Bonvie, a Stephenville, Newfoundland native, posted a 39-14-3 career record between the pipes at SSC, including a 2.98 goals against average and 1,514 saves.
