Bio

Jay, a native of Leominster, MA, earned All American honors in golf all four years he performed at SSC. He played for head coaches George Jacobson, Gerry Driscoll, and Jim Todd.

As a freshman, Jay won the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) title, captured the All-Divisions New England Intercollegiate tournament and was a two-time Massachusetts Intercollegiate Champ. He also helped lead the Vikings to a 7th place finish at the National Championships. Jay is one of the only two SSC athletes to ever earn All American Honors in four different years.

Jay was a four-time All New England First Team performer, and a three-time Salem State College MVP. In his final year, he was selected as the golf program’s first-ever Academic All-American. He led SSC to four NCAA Tournaments and four ECAC tournaments. He was also the recipient of Salem State College’s Presidents Cup Award.
