Bio

George Ellison is an active and vocal supporter of public higher education in Massachusetts. He has served as chairman on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts State College system as well as being appointed twice to the board of Regents. Dr. Ellison served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 1959 – 1972 and was the first recipient of the associations “Distinguished Alumni Award”. He was was honored by Salem State College in 1981 with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree. Dr. Ellison founded and is the principle of the Ellison – Kaloust Agency whose corporate headquarters are located in Saugus. George and his wife, Clare, are the parents of 10 children and reside in Lincoln.
