Bio

Beth (kapnis) Livermore, a Salem native, was a three-year varsity player in field hockey for Head Coach Maryellen McGee, and a two-year varsity women’s basketball player for Coach Tim Shea.

 

Beth was a key performer at the guard position on the SSC Women’s basketball team which captured the 1986 NCAA Division III title. She was also named to the Final Four All-Tournament. Her performance in the NCAA Tournament landed her a spot on the Final All-Tournament team. In addition to being an All-Star basketball player, Beth was an outstanding field hockey player who helped lead SSC to three Massachusetts State College Conference (MASCAC) championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.

 

Beth, a star defender, helped lead SSC to the 1985 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Field Hockey crown and was named an Honor Mention All-American Selection for her efforts.
